Hotmail Auto Forward is not working - Microsoft Community

dear sir/madam,

i've been using auto forward feature hotmail/outlook web quite time , has stopped auto-forwarding emails other account.

appreciate if can assist this, please.

i think issue might in settings on outlook.com or email address forwarding emails. try these first: 

 

1. check email address forwarding emails not blocking emails trying forward.
2. check rules again , add them if have changed: 
   
   at top of page in outlook web app, select settings  > options, , select 1 of following:
   • organize email > inbox rules > new 

or

• mail > automatic processing > inbox rules > new  > create new rule arriving messages
  1. under when message arrives, select apply messages.
  2. select 1 of following, depending on settings see:
• forward, redirect, or send > forward message to

or

• more options > forward, redirect, or send > forward message to
  1. enter email address want in the to box, or choose list of contacts.
  2. choose ok to save selections, and ok or save to create rule.

if don’t help, ask these steps: 

 

• try different browsers, devices , inprivate
• update , optimise browser.
• disable add-ins , extensions
• reset password
