Skype for Business won't sign in when "Use a proxy server" - Microsoft Community

hello all,

my organisation uses skype business on windows 7, 32 bit desktops ie 11.  desktops updated via wsus , updates regularly applied.  not have internal skype server.  office 365 customers.  use cisco cloud web security service filter web pages , ie connects if proxy server.

we're having problem skype sign-in process.  when 'use proxy server ..." enabled in ie, skype business sign-in process never completes.  there no error message , nothing reported in application or system event logs.  when disable 'use proxy ...", sign-in process completes , skype works fine.

i have been looking address or list of addresses include in ie proxy exception list nothing i've found has been useful or relevant.  can here me find out addresses add ie's proxy server exception list.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
