Publisher font size glitch - Microsoft Community

using ms pub 10 , not able change font size after initial choice. select text want change, either choose preset size or type 1 in remains size chose instead of changing 1 want. has been ongoing problem , appears sort of software glitch since i've been using ms pub many years , word , works fine on word. see other people asking question have not seen solution.
