Word 2007 not opening word 97 2003 .docs, asking " File - Microsoft Community

hello, word 2007 , on windows xp, can not open many word 97 2003 .docs, greek language, asking " file conversion", regarding encoding.  every possible encoding combination, ...., no luck ! (first) result : ψ©ΨΨέµ§ vύr³φiψ„΅ζ™»ρ=[1]d‡ζµepΎ­w•{ note that,  it can open english lang. files,  also 1 or two greek language files ! help. giannis
