Outlook 2016 Logon - Microsoft Community

i downloaded outlook 2016 , asked email account. tried enter account , password didn't accept it. want activate outlook without email account program stuck on welcome outlook (email) dialog box , cannot go back. deleted , reloaded program same issue reappears.

how activate outlook without email?

hello glenn,

your outlook user profile might corrupted cause application ask username , password. should need close outlook application first right-clicking task bar, select  task manager, click microsoft outlook , click end task.

follow steps below setup outlook without email address:

1. open mail item in control panel.
2. select show profiles , click add in mail dialog box.
3. type preferred name of new profile, , click ok.
4. click cancel in auto account setup window.
5. click ok when prompted create profile contains no e-mail accounts.
   
   
6. check feature prompt profile used , click ok close mail item.
7. start outlook , click next on outlook 2016 welcome screen.
8. in add email account dialog box, select the no, , click next.
9. check use outlook without email account feature , click finish.
