"Read Only" on OneDrive App - Microsoft Community

so far, microsoft onedrive experience absolutely sucks!!!  hands down.  pathetic.

so, save document (word, excel) on pc onedrive folders, sync office 365.

i have both onedrive business account , onedrive personal account (assoc. w/ personal email).

works great on our pc.  can save, edit, etc.  go office 365 (portal.office) , there are.

now .....i opened these same files onedrive app on android , says "read only" on of these files in addition, says need office 365 subscription.  when click 3 horizontal lines @ top left of file, shows i'm not signed in.  when click "sign in" in brings me "office" page ...."get things done on go."  go sign in business email , nothing happens.

very frustrating.  pathetic experience.

the challenge you're experiencing related file format of documents. know what's format of word , excel files you're trying open. issue occur office files regardless of format? isolation purposes, if format of files .doc , .xls, please create copy of these files save them .docx , .xlsx. once done, open them again on onedrive app on android device , see if issue persists.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Office / Skype for Business / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
