"Your Outlook Account Settings are Out of Date." I don't - Microsoft Community

based on fora, problem has been going on years. it's beyond stupid. have microsoft account, don't use sign in windows 10 - local account. don't use outlook on computer. use gmail. have "fixed" problem countless times, , never-sufficiently-to-be-damned popup keeps coming up, several times day.

microsoft, needs fixed. it's maddening. unchecking "sync internet time" not answer, because don't want give option. if microsoft "expert" tells me need delete strange files in windows directory, or fiddle registry, that's not acceptable. fix should clear, reproducible, , work first time, forever.

the issue quite unclear , broad distinguish main reason why having challenges/issues in using outlook. have better understanding of concerns application, we'd ask questions:

  • what recent changes made on computer before experienced issue?
  • what troubleshooting steps have done far?
  • can have screenshot of error message?
  • what version of office installed on computer?
  • what primary email service provider using?

in addition, there tool can scan office applications misconfigurations generating detailed report. can download , run microsoft office configuration analyzer tool 2.2 from link , start scanning computer analyze installed office applications.

we're looking forward response.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
