centering text vertically in Word 2016 - Microsoft Community

i’m trying center text vertically in word 2016. instructions this: on layout or page layout tab, click dialogue box launcher in page setup group, click layout tab. there no dialogue box launcher in layout page. why not? , there way vertically center text on page? thank you.

if cannot see page layout button on layout ribbon

@ top left of document window, not on document itself, under menu ribbon , not on ruler (if have rulers showing, spot left of top ruler)

double click, open page layout dialog
on layout tab
in vertical alignment drop down list, select center
