Error Message when opening Outlook 2016 - Microsoft Community

i downloaded office 2016 recently. since when open outlook, open @ same time error message "c\users\ xxxxx\skydrive\documents\outlookfiles\my mail address.pst cannot opened". tap ok , message disappears.

then message document folder "my email address cannot opened". click cancel , error message disappears.

moved from: outlook.com / email / connecting outlook.com apps , devices

it outlook data file damaged. recommend run the inbox repair tool diagnose , repair errors in data file. detailed instructions, please check link provided below:

repair outlook data files (.pst , .ost).

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
