know whether or not possible have more 1 pop(3) account in outlook 2016 mac. used outlook 2011 mac 5 years 2 email accounts (mine , wife's) , 'rules' directed incoming email mine or wife's inbox. migrated outlook 2016 mac , has been month both account's mail going respective inboxes. due protracted load time of new product started leave outlook minimised in task bar started occasional 'connection server failed or dropped'. error code: 3253. 1 of suggested solutions delete accounts , recreate it. not keen unfamiliar setting accounts in new version, bit bullet , deleted , recreated account. mail not appear in correct inbox , honest i'm not quite sure going. have been in touch support , inform me cannot run 2 pop accounts in outlook 2016 , other account has imap account means email gets stored locally , wife's on remote server somewhere. not want.

we configure multiple pop accounts in outlook. 

from description, configure account imap now, account 3253 error when configured pop. 

generally, issue "3253" caused incorrect incoming/outgoing port or encryption type.

please go "tools"> "accounts...", untick "use ssl connect" incoming server give shot. 

meanwhile, i'd let know pop accounts' email downloaded inbox folder of "on computer" in outlook. 

if need further assistance outlook mac, it recommended contact outlook mac experts clicking on contact support feature on the help menu is a dedicated support channel outlook mac issues.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
