Any Office program crashes on start while connected to the corporative - Microsoft Community

hi,

this happened on 3 computers of our company, on 2 of them issue fixed after several re-installs , keeping computer connected external network full day.

scenario: computer windows 7 pro 64bit, office 2016 32bit  (deferred channel: version 1701 [7766.2099] (user e3 o365 account). office program crash on start when computer connected corporative network, either lan or wifi. if computer connects external network, crash not happen , office apps work ok.

we using proxy .pac file (being zscaler our provider). on 300 computers case right now.

skype business program not crash. apps work on safe mode, although end crashing @ point.

attempted: office uninstall/reinstall. license/activation removal , re-activated. installed latest office updates , latest windows security updates. 

i create new user profile honest love avoid this user not average user (lots of customized programs etc etc) - , fixed on 2 other computers commented, connecting external networks.

can please assist on one? let me know if need me add kind of logs etc.

hi manuel,

as issue occurs on specific computer same network connection other normal computers in environment. meanwhile, office suite on problematic computer works when changing network connection external network. so, think issue more related operating system , network level. if issue occurs again on computer. suggest post new thread under windows category in our forum further investigation. specific channel handles operating system related issues , questions.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
