task folder can not be found error message - Microsoft Community

when using quick step item "create task attachment'  error message stating task folder cannot found. how fix problem? 

i have tried repairing the .pst file did not work. file supposed , why missing? can create tasks using "new items" drop-down menu.

there possible reasons why you're experiencing issue task folder. may caused .pst file being corrupted or deleted said file unintentionally. did create backup said file? if not, best if create new task folder , create backup avoid experiencing same issue.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
