Deleted shared folder locally, what happens to owner? - Microsoft Community

hello accidentally deleted local folders laptop's onedrive folder and  while stopped on sync/delete progress, , did restored deleted recycle bin i'm not sure happened shared folder had well.

checked other account owner , there nothing in recycle bin, neither shared folder in recycle bin.
there lot of files , hard make sure there nothing missing, question is:

if had deleted shared folder (with edit permission) locally, mean being removed owners onedrive?
if yes, shouldn't deleted files being in owners recycle bin able restore them?

hi,

sharing folder 1 of features of onedrive. can let edit , add content specific files or folders long permission has been configured.

regarding concern deleted shared folder, in case deleted accidentally, item sent recycle bin of only shared folder's owner through onedrive website. however, in case onedrive account synced laptop, deleted items shared folder appear in laptop's recycle bin.

also, owner of shared folder can restore items deleted folder.

let know if need additional assistance.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
