facing similar issue after updating macbook air 10.13.2 , using outlook mac 2011 version 14.7.7 (179905).

documents can attach email usual unable opened, previewed, or 'shown in finder.' is, until draft saved. it's if outlook attempting reference temporary (draft) file location before draft saved. i'll bookmark thread hopeful resolution telling clients save draft prior previewing attachments nuisance.

if account office 365 account, try in owa (outlook web app) see whether same error. if account not office 365 account, try in web of account.

 

we can “preview”, or “open” attachment before send email in outlook mac.

 

is “preview” or “open” button missing, or button doesn’t work? please provide scree shot of issue further investigate.

 

actually, after october 10, 2017, office mac 2011 no longer receive bug fixes , security updates, suggest upgrade  outlook mac 2016 better customer experience.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
