Messaging unavailable - Microsoft Community

my skype business has stopped working when comes messaging.

just says messaging unavailable in messaging panel.

do know how fix this?

people can still talk me , i'm online signed in correctly.

don't know how happened. need fixed asap i'm running business.

please update skype business client first , check if issue persists. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/3123065/how-to-obtain-the-latest-update-for-skype-for-business-2016 if using msi version, please  update update package, if using click-to-run version, please update method provided in bottom of article.

 

to better understand situation, need gather more information narrow down possible cause.

 

  1. is issue happened contacts or specific contacts? if so, type of affected contacts? internal users or external users? or skype users.
  2. when did issue first happen?
  3. to check whether issue associated account, try sign in account pc’s client check whether issue persists.
  4. please collect screenshot of error message.
  5. may ask account hosted on? skype business online or skype business on premise?
  6. detailed version of skype business in screenshot. gear icon>help>about skype business.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
