How to adjust the font smooth settings of word 2016 - Microsoft Community

the font of word 2016 looks ugly comparised vscode .

i want know how adjust settings of word 2016 pretty well

configuring display scaling or turning on cleartype can make text sharper , easier read. may perform these methods smooth fonts.

method 1:

1. open microsoft office installation folder.
2. right-click on word icon.
3. select properties.
4. click on compatibility tab.
5. under settings, select disable display scaling on high dpi settings.
6. click apply > ok.

method 2: use cleartype text tuner.

1. on search box, type adjust cleartype text, click on result.
2. select or tick box on turn on cleartype > next.
3. if have multiple monitors, asked if want tune monitors now, click next.
4. windows check if monitor set native resolution, click next.
5. you'll asked select text you're comfortable reading > next.
6. click finish.
