haven't used restrict editing while i'm sure worked before.
decided restrict permissions on document used form filling. not email or send anyone. use on our network. or me!
worked while designing form , used few time test form. message
"your machine not set information rights management (irm)".
to set irm, sign in office,open existing irm protected message or document or contact admin."
no matter type of restriction put, read coming same thing.
don't have 'admin'. admin of machine , document create!
i've searched online , i'm reading extremely techie servers , domains , clients , whatnot.
can't finding right solution because can't complicated seeing review tab on ribbon gives button restrict or not restrict!!!
normally, message appears if click "restrict permission" link @ bottom of pane. clicking instead of "yes, start enforcing protection" button?
a different thing try add lock button quick access toolbar. in customize quick access toolbar dialog, it's on commands list:
click button turn on , off "filling in forms" type of protection.
