Fancy line I created in word but can't delete - Microsoft Community

hi everybody!

i found if pressed ~ 3 times, 'enter' got fancy wavy line across page.  great!  decided don't need , not delete.  thing can move around page not delete.  if put cursor right on 2 horizontal lines indicating recognises line of sorts doesn't seem obey orders - delete!  can help? 

i suppose go if pressed 'undo' loads of times if few days later that's no real use!

based on description, seeing paragraph border. select paragraph border , preceding , following paragraph. open borders , shading dialog box clicking arrow on border button in paragraph group on home tab , click borders , shading. click remove borders.
