Changing Email address. - Microsoft Community

i have ms email account in outlook.com. serves defined purpose, , not default. however, more junk emails  than legitimate emails in email account. idea add alias account. have looked necessary steps create alias. so, not question @ moment.

the question(s) is:

1) alias prevent amount of junk coming in?

2) original email address still receive junk?

3) have change other accounts using present outlook.com email , password?

4) have inform people change, email reach me?

5) use present email , password enter windows 10 @ start-up. assume have change in case?

i appreciate advice on type of change.
