How to merge track changes from multiple documents into one - Microsoft Community

hi all,

i have word document sent of group members make edits , changes. , each 1 has made own track changes edits , sent document me. wondering if it's possible merge track changes (as comments) original document so can read easier.

the command want combine command, you'll find clicking compare button near right end of review ribbon.

you can combine 2 documents @ time. in dialog, select original document , 1 of edited documents (and select types of tracked changes , comments want), , click ok. on next pass, select result of first pass 'original document' , edited document. keep repeating this, adding changes in next edited document accumulated changes previous pass.
