Unable to Open Word Documents in Outlook 2013 - Microsoft Community

my boss has outlook 2013 , word 2003.  has not been able open attachments sent him in word.  have outlook 2013 , word 2013 , have no problems.  , both have windows 7.  suggestions?

hi,

there’s possibility windows firewall service not running properly. isolate issue, need ask few questions:

  1. are getting error messages?
  2. what troubleshooting steps have done far?
  3. since when have been experiencing issue?
  4. any recent changes made prior issue?

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
