Missing files in onedrive - Microsoft Community

hello

i'm missing files onedrive folders. folder structure visible, files inside them not.

this problem on onedrive.live.com desktop windows 10 know it's not sync problem.

there nothing in recycle bin relating of these missing files. there hundreds of files missing.

not folders empty, folders i've used more present , correct. 

what going on? has onedrive lost these files, , there way them back, need them!!!! please help

hi rosie,

the issue due onedrive sync engine corruption. let's resolve performing steps below:

  1. press windows key + r to open run window.
  2. in run window enter following: %localappdata%\microsoft\onedrive\onedrive.exe /reset
  3. click ok.  onedrive system tray icon on desktop should disappear , re-appear after minute or two.
  4. if onedrive system tray icon not re-appear after few minutes, following.  in run window enter:

            %localappdata%\microsoft\onedrive\onedrive.exe

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
