Email Notifications going to Old phone number/ Someone else with - Microsoft Community

i had had email notifications sent phone through sms office 365 outlook email had used @ time @ itt-tech (which somehow still active), , have not had phone number time now.  i log onto check email time time, though itt-tech no longer around check on few things still have email account tied to. have had several replies these notifications old phone number saying "quit" or "stop"   had replied them letting owner of number know situation , try remedy problem asap.  to dismay cannot find within settings 1. change phone number or 2. turn feature off.    any appreciated, know frustrating , annoying whomever getting these texts.
