sir have outlook 2016 latest update 15.39, os x sierra 10.12.6 (an hour ago on el capitan, updated try solve issue) , reason, messages, reply/reply all/forward buttons no work @ all. note messages, not all.

thanks post. "button" issue, suggest try following steps see if issue can fixed:

 

  1. reinstall safari: safari browser installed on computer. if browser not working correctly, outlook not function. therefore, need reinstall browser. can reinstall safari browser on own if reason can't, contact apple support.
  2. if have cisco webex plugin installed, please upgrade webex productivity tools latest version. , can try disable webex plug-in see whether issue happen.
  3. about these buttons not work, did these buttons grayed out? or there no response after click it? please provide more information , screenshots if possible.
  4. which kind of message have issue? point difference between problematic message , normal message?

 

meanwhile, have dedicated support channel outlook mac issues. can contact them outlook mac issues , getting better support (go > contact support). , if have updates it, can share in our community.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
