Outlook 2016 not responding - Microsoft Community

hi all,

a frustrating problem outlook 2016. until yesterday fine reason outlook stopped responding. when closed , went in stop responding again @ same time. @ start when synchronising folders. imap e-mail account downloads server. set on 3 years ago , has been fine.

i have tried suggestions microsoft support. 

starting in safe mode.

repair damaged pst file.

i've tried change / repair function. included more advanced online repair re-insatll of office 365.

nothing has worked , outlook still not responding when first open.

i have lot of e-mails sites have said may issue cannot access outlook tidy or archive.

please pull out hair! :(

once have restarted pc , loaded able start ms outlook, , function or give specific error msg?

if not run ms utility against outlook, find problems?

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Office / Skype for Business / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
