deploy skype for business with SSO - Microsoft Community

i have client wants deploy skype business organization. using small business premium. can give me articles it? during process, points need pay attention to?

based on small business premium, assume want deploy skype business online in environment.

 

from experience, achieve this, need folloing:

1. adfs/sso environment.

2. pc should domain-joined.

3. in local ad, user should have sip address entry, example:

if address newly added in ad, please force dirsync.

4. user should use same ad account sign current pc.

then, when skype business client launched, use credential of existing pc profile sign in. there no password prompt.

later, password can remembered/saved skype business client. uses not need type passwords.

if understanding not correct, please provide more detailed information of requirement , local environment. can further analysis.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
