High CPU usage outlook for mac build 15.35 - Microsoft Community

another thread inexplicably high cpu usage (100% according activity monitor) when outlook running in background.

i've tried removing office, , associated library container files, , fresh install unfortunately still seem having same issues.

running on mid-2009 macbook pro 2.66ghz processor, 4gb ram on yosemite (10.10.5).

any assistance gratefully received. thanks.

reply. please try use "clean startup" or "safe boot" mac determine whether background programs interfering outlook 2016 mac.

may try check issue via creating new mac user profile , performing clean install latest outlook 2016 mac application program see whether problem still occurs.

if above troubleshooting steps doesn't solve problem, try check user issue via using different mac determine whether specific client side issue.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
