POP to IMAP Conversion in Outlook 365 for Mac - Microsoft Community

access 4 different e-mail accounts in outlook 365 mac.  three imap accounts , fourth pop account.  i want convert pop account on imap not want lose of pop-originated e-mails stored on imac in process. how do this? i not store of pop account e-mails on e-mail provider's server.

yes, export , import steps same. since want configure pop account imap account in outlook mac client, recommend create new test profile , check if can configured imap account in test profile. test prevents deleting pop account in original profile , found cannot configured imap account in original profile. here article creating new profile reference: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/manage-profiles-or-identities-in-outlook-for-mac-fed2a955-74df-4a24-bef6-78a426958c4c. can delete test profile later.

 

when import email data, imported folder under on computer list. avoid duplicate email data, recommend mark email data in pop account new category , select export items in specific category export emails in pop account.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
