OneDrive is broken - Microsoft Community

i have fall creator's update of windows 10 (build 16299).  find onedrive incredibly irritating, because create files , directories, , in contexts when viewing onedrive, can see them, , in other contexts, can't.  needs "just work" or need throw away.

case in point:  have excel workbook named 401k_projections.xlsx saved documents > finances folder of onedrive, shown in backstage view of excel:

however, if navigate there in windows explorer, document doesn't appear:

similarly, looking @ onedrive documents > finances folder in windows explorer, can see folder named finsym:

however, in excel, when do file > save as , shows me same documents > finances folder, finsym found:

what missing here?  how can possibly production product?

the other screenshot @ onedrive > documents > finances

kindly search exact location of eric hill's onedrive>> documents>> finances see files. if files not synced, can sync them following troubleshooting steps provided on link fix onedrive sync problems.

provide outcome can assist further.
