Export from SharePoint to Excel in Chrome - Microsoft Community

i unable export data sharepoint excel when use google chrome browser. error message says, "to export list, must have microsoft sharepoint foundation-compatible application." there way fix this? 

i can see other discussions general recommendation has been use ie, there plugin help, or there potential export feature ever enabled in other browsers?

you need open downloaded query file after clicking export excel button.

please see steps below:

the chrome download query.iqy file see notification. notification, not error message. please follow steps below see result:

1. use chrome go related list>list>export excel>when see notification, click “ok”
2. check if chrome downloading query.iqy file you. 
3. open file computer, open excel automatically you>when see notification below, click “enable”
4. then list content should exported excel.
