Choice column with multi selection in the list can't be modified - Microsoft Community

hi,

as know there link tell microsoft if problem in sharepoint portal.. can't see anymore .. removed?

not talking support :)

the thing that, choice column multi selection in list can't modified in quick edit mode, can in form view only.

it not feasible use quick edit view edit items column settings provided.

 

in quick edit mode, edit choice column, need use 1 of following options:

  1. checkboxes (allow multiple selections) without  allow 'fill-in' choices
  2. drop-down menu with  allow 'fill-in' choices

 

for updated comment:

if allow fill selected in column setting, , user filled new value, not added column can use same value again.

 

it not feasible using choice column. if value user enters shown, suggest using enterprise keyword.

 

the keywords users add available others when use list or library. example, when users type similar characters in enterprise keywords column of list, sharepoint displays keyword in suggestion message.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
