Query string removed from hyperlink in email. - Microsoft Community

hello,

     i working on kind of way show local files contain test results on browser. far working correctly, except 1 small detail.

     i sending link people more or less intermediary page opens browser window redirects needed page. (this works on google chrome, besides point.)

     the link looks "file:///\\path\to\directory\redirector.html?query=\path\to\file". redirector.html file contains javascript code reads 'query' , after light string manipulation redirects wanted text file.

     my problem follows; works fine when copying link outlook browser, however, clicking on link or choosing right click-> copy link results query being removed giving link "file:///\\path\to\directory\redirector.html" rendering whole process useless.

     is problem outlook? can't seem find other reason. if is, please tell me if can fixed. if not, please suggest problem might be.

for provide correct information , resolution in copying link using right-click option, know following:

• how access email account? through microsoft office outlook on desktop, outlook.com via web browser, or outlook mobile app?
• are getting error messages? if yes, exact error message?
• were there changes made on email account settings prior concern?
• have done troubleshooting steps resolve this?
