iyou helped me problem yesterday sfter replied, not re-reply. here's trail:

original question 10/1/17:

after advancing line #10 on list, tab inserted automatically @ start of line cannot removed

if carefully, should see tab there. more visible because "10" wide covers first tab. if put in custom tab wider default works on #10 line, , apply same formatting earlier lines you'll see things line properly

hi, rohn, followed advice , got far gcf, informit, howtogeek, office support, dummies, etc. between lack of degree in computer science , opacity of directions, got close not right yet. selecting start of line 10 , displaying ruler , sliding hanging indent icon rightward, got paragraph 10 nudged on small indent showing. worked line 9 same way , displayed in agreement line 10. tried on line 8, , agreed visually 9 , 10 except "8" didn't move , had left grey fat arrowhead pointing southeast . 7 , 6 , supposedly others agree except "8". can push me on finish line, or start me on square one, whatever needed. in advance!

manually adjust one, 10 obvious choice. insertion point there use copy paragraph format. select rest of paragraphs , use apply formatting paragraphs.
