Eudora (pop) access to outlook - Microsoft Community

i've been trying set couple of users can access outlook eudora. know eudora old , unsupported, please, please, please don't tell me answer query move other email client...

i first set new email address via outlook.com. default extension provided outlook @hotmail.com, , didn't see reason change that, first user got address <username1>@hotmail.com.

eudora has test server function part of set-up new email address; test fails if deliberately mis-spell names of smtp server or pop server, succeeds if spell them correctly, know eudora communicating servers.

however, when eudora tries send or check mail, flags error in username/password. error message specifies login name <username1>@*** email address removed privacy ***. thought double suffix must source of problem, created email address, <username2>@outlook.com, , tried again. same error, citing same username before - <username1>@*** email address removed privacy ***.

any ideas????

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
