Outlook 2016 recent update issue - Microsoft Community

i updated user's outlook latest version 1708 (build 8431.2107)

microsoft office professional plus 2016

the user connecting exchange account in on-premise exchange 2013.

which have same login skype.

it found outlook pop login credential window exchange account.

we input exchange 2013 password , save password. fail.

then cancel , not have issue  on-premise exchange connection.

we further check credential manager, show there saved entry "outlook.office.com".

it exchange online (office 365) login did not subscribed that.

we removed entry not using it.

later, appear outlook credential window again. 

when save , is "outlook.office.com" again.

then remove credential again.

we found can continue use if cancel credential window.

but annoying outlook 2016 pop up.

we tried disabled outlook add-ins , same. wonder why outlook 2016 try connect office 365.

i had sign out skype (skype version 7.40.0.103), found credential window not appear again.

is there feature integrated outlook skype bug?

it annoying outlook pop it.

we identified issue outlook 2016 latest update. outlook 2016 version 1708 (build 8431.2107)

the work around fall update version previous one.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Office / Skype for Business / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
