Outlook Web App recover deleted items not working - Microsoft Community

my mother's windows phone somehow lost contacts on live.com account. read somewhere deleting , restoring contacts on web app fix contacts synchronized again.

so went contacts hub , removed folder contained contacts. next selected recover deleted items contacts back. however, page says "we didn't find show here." if nothing deleted. have deleted contact information while having no way of restoring anything. can do?

this repeatable bug on outlook.com site.

steps reproduce:

1. create new folder under "your contacts", let's call "test"

2. create new contact under folder.

3. right click "test" folder , select delete

4. answer yes pop-up "are sure want move folder , contents deleted items?"

5. click manage -> restore deleted contacts

6. 0 deleted contacts visible.

the message on recovery page says:

you have 0 deleted contacts can restore. contacts deleted more 30 days ago cannot restored. if else deleted contacts without permission please follow these steps safeguard account
