Ignore autogenerated emails when incorrect email folders - Microsoft Community

hi,

i'm using imap receive emails outlook email server , when i'm opening "inbox" folder 2 autogenerated emails received in inbox, 

one or more folders in mailbox named incorrectly.* name of 1 or more of folders includes character "/" or more 250 characters. folders names include character can't downloaded imap e-mail program.

and 

two folders in mailbox have same name.

i understand why these errors occur, i'm instructed not change names of folders.

is there way ignore these autogenerated emails sent?

the issue might caused 2 folders named same. need rename folder avoid getting auto-generated messages.

the way avoid getting auto-generated email messages create rule on outlook settings. can check link can guide on managing email messages.

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
