User gets message "File is in use" regularly when trying to - Microsoft Community

hello

getting complaint users when try access private files in 1 drive folder on local computer message of "this file in use" , have edit copy. when try access file later in day issue gone. 

anyone know causing issue?

this error quite puzzling me also. when error appears, because opened in program. looking on question again, make sure haven't missed off.

when produces error in morning, , later in day, can open no problems. thinking, onedrive maybe syncing these files.

when try , open these documents, onedrive in process of syncing or looking changes?

to honest you, still digging around see if there else can causing sort of error appear.

you try getting effected users reset onedrive right clicking onto onedrive icon , clicking onto exit. try setting onedrive again going start > onedrive
