Cannot start Microsoft Outlook - Microsoft Community

hello,
have installed 365 on new laptop today & have error message coming when attempting open outlook:

cannot start microsoft outlook. cannot open outlook window. set of folders cannot opened. file c:\users (etc) not outlook data file (.ost).

please advise require access desktop emails asap.

please login outlook web app (owa) with office 365 account for template usage. meanwhile, please follow the article in link below try fixing issue on side:

if issue persists, may know download office suite? , please reboot laptop , provide detailed version of outlook further assistance.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
