Complex powerpoint shapes (icons, logos, etc) causing - Microsoft Community

i have microsoft office 365 mac, , i've noticed complex shapes i've built in powerpoint - such logos , icons - causing powerpoint crash (i'm running powerpoint version 15.40). clicking shape freeze , crash program. i've tested issue on several different macbook pro laptops, , produce same result: freeze crash. relatively new issue, have graphics-library of hundreds of logos , icons (all built using powerpoint shapes) have been using many years without issues... until (specifically past month - november 2017).

i'm not sure whether issue caused recent update ios operating system, or update microsoft office 365, wanted see if else experiencing similar problems.

to narrow down issue have, please provide information below:

  1. does complex shapes mean combine shapes create custom shape in powerpoint 2016 mac?
  2. what’s os version. example: 12.13 high sierra.
  3. create new presentation, issue occur?

in meantime, check if issue related third-party, please try rebooting system in safe

boot see result:

  1. restart mac, press , hold shift key. white apple logo

appears on display.

  1. release shift key when see logo window. if startup disk encrypted

filevault, might asked log in twice: once unlock startup disk, , again log in

to finder. check if issue persists in safe boot.

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
