SharePoint Task list - Microsoft Community


how sp task list send task to the task assignee?

hi richard,

 

to create task list in sharepoint online, can perform following steps:

1.go site page>click settings in navigation pane>add app>choose tasks>type name task , click create

2.in site content page>find , click new created task list

3.click list in menu bar>click list settings>advanced settings

4.go e-mail notification section>choose yes>click ok in bottom.

5.go task list>click new task create new task.

 

6.in assigned to box, type name or email address of user want assign task to.

the user receive email notification in owa/outlook client , can click task name in email has link go task detailed information.
