PowerPoint for Mac office 365 activation - Microsoft Community

while working on powerpoint file, asked me  update powerpoint on mac, clicked ok. ( have microsoft mac 2008), new version read-only, , in order use it, have activate office 365, free 1 month trial , $6.99 per moth!! when click on it, takes app store sign in, after entering id , password says there error. please help! can original power point. .? how can use new one? rest of mycrosoft mac 2008. thank

we understand frustrations. situation, suggest try following suggestions:

1. if have copy of office 2008 installer, can use reinstall.

2. use time machine restore mac.

3. may disable auto update workaround.

 

meanwhile, mainstream support office 2008 mac has ended since april 9, 2013. can view the microsoft support lifecycle policy for further details.

given this, suggest upgrade office 365 plans to latest office applications give better user experience.

hello, we trying use skype business. tried sign in, , got following error. we followed the  instructions here . used remote connectivity analyzer , failed. we added srv , cname records our dns server, , the  remote connectivity analyzer  passed 4. however, still cannot log skype business, , same error when try. when adding srv records, our dns server did not have place enter service or protocol, entered them in "name" field using following pattern: _service._protocol.domain.com what else wrong? **post transferred skype office skype business better assistance.** seems took little time dns server register new entries. it's working now. Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope...
