i downloaded office 2016 recently. since when open outlook, open @ same time error message "c\users\ xxxxx\skydrive\documents\outlookfiles\my mail address.pst cannot opened". tap ok , message disappears. then message document folder "my email address cannot opened". click cancel , error message disappears. moved from: outlook.com / email / connecting outlook.com apps , devices hi bill, it outlook data file damaged. recommend run the inbox repair tool diagnose , repair errors in data file. detailed instructions, please check link provided below: repair outlook data files (.pst , .ost). regards. hi, i have been using outlook 2013 quite time , have had graphics appear in emails; when don't, simple remedy has been click on "download pictures" above email in preview panel. everything worked fine yesterday, today, can not graphics displayed, after clicking on download pictures.  on friday, downloaded , installed latest fall creator update windows, said, things worked fine until morning. is there in registry needs fixed?  can important feature me appreciate help have repaired office (office diagnostics)? it seems account set-up wizard in outlook has changed following update. it used when set new account account , chose "manually configure server settings" option , "imap" see following. with new wizard, asked first enter email address , check box "let me set account manually", choose account type (imap in case) , see following screen. the problem outlook wrongly assumes username account same email address , there no place change it. when click 'connect' prompts username , password, , username field contains email address - if change correct username reverts using email address again. so in position whereby none of our customers able add imap email accounts supply them, because unable enter correct username anywhere. is there way around this? hi ewan,       it bug on latest office update. still, know more issue. p lease clarify following: ...
