Lost all contacts from outlook.com and live.com - Microsoft Community

on 13th of month @ night found contacts losing names , number , found set of contacts did not belong me.  tried options available on site in vain.  in fix , surprised known site microsoft lose persons contacts.

if has advise please help

there possible reasons why contacts missing outlook.com account. 1 of can due add-ins or extensions installed on web browser. suggest follow steps provided below:

  • try different browser, device or inprivate
  • update , optimise browser
  • disable add-ins , extensions
  • unlink account external profiles https://profile.live.com

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
