on acer i5 ultrabook windows8 have powerpoint project each slide mp4 movie. the slides not advance consistently, either advancing during playback or @ end of slide. using spacebar, arrow, or mouse/trackpad, slides advance correctly , not. random. put onscreen keyboard on pp controls , used advance slides (so hear 'click' when hit virtual space bar) , not consistent. project large in file size, each move hd res. ultrabooks function: play power point project. not hooked internet. optimized hard drive today, problem persisted. how can make sure slides advance when prompted? hard drive problem? there way put whole project in memory? part of interactive live show, need consistent slide advances. when add superscript document, appears in center of line rather on upper third. seems wrong text size, true subscripts (see attached photo). happens when use footnotes well. i've tried reinstalling , did not fix issue, , it's been happening @ least few months now. there way fix this?  i've had problem myself, although different font 1 in example. the font you're using has become corrupted in way. can time consuming diagnose this, or find "fresh" copy reinstall, since system fonts install mac os locked down sip , there's not particularly user-friendly way force word rebuild it's font database if manage make change.  your quickest fix far going to switch different font doesn't behave way. if want know more longer , more cumbersome diagnostics , workarounds, suggest starting these 2 responses on different forum, here  and here . folks in thread talking version of pa

i have several bulleted lists in document, , reason have different levels of indentation, regards distances between bullet point , (1) paper margin left, , (2) text right; settings thought governed respectively left , first line settings under paragraph. homogenise these indents across document, bulleted lists. to end, right clicked style listparagraph , chose select instances. ticks ruler disappeared not set indents there, have been easiest. tried playing around 2 settings mentioned under paragraph - since values dont mean me, , there no apply button instantly see effect, hard adjust appropriate value. can help? many thanks! although can change indents in normal paragraphs (and styles) in paragraph dialog, in bulleted or numbered paragraphs/styles, indents @ left must set in define new multilevel list dialog. the list paragraph style applied when apply bullets using bullets button in paragraph group

i have document organized in multi-level list.  some areas of text in section 4.1 (heading 2 depth).  other areas of text in section 5.2.4 (heading 3 depth).  i figures in section 4.1 have chapter number depth of heading 2 (this gives figure name of "figure 4.1-#").  i figures in section 5.2.4 have chapter number depth of heading 3 (this gives figure name of "figure 5.2.4-#"). the problem chapter number heading depth acting document-wide global setting.  i can't 2-heading chapter depth in figure captions 3-heading chapter depth in other figure captions in same document.  when add new caption, whole document adjusts heading depth of caption added. i on word 2010 v14.0.7188.5002. you have make use of (at least) 2 caption labels: 1 figures under level 1 headings , 1 figures under level 2 headings. may not find worth effort.
