my pc windows 7 home. have iphone 8s running ios 11.2. i use office 365 running outlook 2016 on pc. can sync calendar iphone every time, , events show in iphone native calendar app. however, can't figure out how make events , appointments on outlook iphone app. while calendar events show on native calendar app, nothing @ synced iphone outlook app's calendar. is there way fix this? itunes syncs native app , outlook app doesn’t ‘read’ native calendar app (which can contain more calendars itunes syncs). outlook app designed exchange accounts, have calendars sync, no need sync native calendar. don’t know if share calendar events native app in future can put in suggestion @ outlook.uservoice.com. i updated user's outlook latest version 1708 (build 8431.2107) microsoft office professional plus 2016 the user connecting exchange account in on-premise exchange 2013. which have same login skype. it found outlook pop login credential window exchange account. we input exchange 2013 password , save password. fail. then cancel , not have issue  on-premise exchange connection. we further check credential manager, show there saved entry "outlook.office.com". it exchange online (office 365) login did not subscribed that. we removed entry not using it. later, appear outlook credential window again.  when save , is "outlook.office.com" again. then remove credential again. we found can continue use if cancel credential window. but annoying outlook 2016 pop up. we tried disabled outlook add-ins , same. wonder why outlook 2016 try connect office 365. i had sign out skype (skype version 7.40.0.

two problems in outlook 2016: 1) poor handling of personal gmail account 2) can't connect business gmail account. i'm office 365 subscriber.  1) personal gmail account.  firstly, had downgrade gmail's security allow outlook connect. why?  - outlook ios connects without doing that. - ios mail client connects without doing that.  secondly, performance bad. every time outlook 2016 syncs gmail account takes long time sync. creates problem because next sync wants start before sync finishes. granted long email history pretty big, but: - outlook ios doesn't have problem - ios mail client doesn't have problem. there work-around found improve performance disabling imap folders in gmail, including "all mail". nice try! without "all mail", outlook ios doesn't work. tried talking outlook ios folks because have better support , feedback interface right there in app. is outlook 2016 problem , talk
