hi, i have various duplicate contacts in outlook.com , outlook 2016. for example : have contact abc in both outlook.com , outlook 2016.  in outlook.com have following info entered : mobile 1, address in outlook in have following info entered : mobile 1, mobile 2, birthdate. i merge info 1 contact thereby displaying follows : abc - mobile 1, mobile 2, address, birthdate. i not create export file outlook 2016 , import outlook.com doing creates new contacts , links them. reason not doing in future add other info easier , not create confusion , multiple entries same contact. is there way can resolve issue? if yes please let me know how. thanks hi chirag, we'd additional information regarding concern on merging contact info one. please verify if using same email account in outlook.com , outlook 2016. we'll keep eye out response. i have outlook 365 subscription - executable installed on machine. *not* talking outlook.com, cloud-based application. i email 3rd party (a small orange) - spam filtering tool called spam assassin. can log in web app , see mail have queued download me. what expecting mail downloaded , sorted according rules have set outlook executable on machine. select "home" ribbon , select "junk" , select "junk email options" , click on radio button reads, "safe lists only: mail people on safe senders list or safe recipients list delivered inbox." this function used work, not. spam winds in inbox though sender not on contacts list , not in white list set in the safe senders , safe recipient tabs on same dialog box.  my apologies asking question third time, there seems lot of confusion outlook using. hi danflak, we don't have release date production team support engineers.

i tried open outlook 2016 check emails today , instead of opening got "cannot start microsoft outlook. cannot open outlook window. set of folders cannot opened. file access denied. not have permission required access file c:etc..pst". so tried local repair via programs in control box. nothing fixed; tried full repair (online) , found of office 365 had disappeared?. mildly annoyed, re-installed office, although reloaded, still no outlook. booted other pc (a imac) , started ms outlook, no problems , imported outlook ".pst" file other pc without trouble. so removed traces of microsoft office problem pc; rebooted , reinstalled 365 office. no different. why cannot open outlook delete ".pst" file or set new email account. have logged on administrator, message " file cannot found" , prompts me it; when select it, i'm told need app open it. seems logical file ok if can import outlook on imac, can wrong?

here's situation: newly imaged computer/fresh install of office , windows. windows 8.1, office 2013 when deleting email, first outlook hangs (the delete x grayed out nothing happens). after delay of 20 seconds, message deletes message below copied. in other words, there's 2 of exact message under deleted item was. if you're deleting last email in inbox, nothing doubled, though still hangs/pauses when deleting. acts same whether of items unread or read. i've never seens issue before , haven't been able find similar searching online. i tried replacing users profile didn't help. any ideas? thank in advance! dont mention type of mail account , whether have run inbox repair tool or add-ins shown, whether enabled or not Office / Outlook / Windows 8 /
