i'm pc user.  installed office 365 personal , entering intense work season needs work me. the old office 2007 kept launching reason uninstalled office 2007 today; re-started afterward. just sure, designated office 365, 2016 versions of word, excel, , ppt defaults using start button/default programs. i made decisions under assumption that: newer version should able open older versions. now trying open , work on various excel files sent me. however, 2 file types i'm struggling came in "xls" (97-2003) , file type "xlsx" (which think 2007). somehow able save them both "xlsx" files. but - in both cases, the way able open these files first launching new excel 2016 version , browsing files.  i cannot open them clicking on icon directly in explorer huge convenience don't want give up. beside steps open files, want make sure i'm doing things right won't have navigate multiple versions work done.

hello,      i working on kind of way show local files contain test results on browser. far working correctly, except 1 small detail.      i sending link people more or less intermediary page opens browser window redirects needed page. (this works on google chrome, besides point.)      the link looks " file:///\\path\to\directory\redirector.html?query=\path\to\file ". redirector.html file contains javascript code reads 'query' , after light string manipulation redirects wanted text file.      my problem follows; works fine when copying link outlook browser, however, clicking on link or choosing right click-> copy link results query being removed giving link " file:///\\path\to\directory\redirector.html " rendering whole process useless.      is problem outlook? can't seem find other reason. if is, please tell me if can fixed. if not, please suggest problem might be. thanks in advance. :d ***post moved m

hello, i trying create formula off of flag field return finish date.  if flag field yes task finish date needs displayed.  if flag field no needs display na.  me put formula together?   the flag field called "deliverable flag" thanks krfoundations -- assuming using flag1 field mark deliverables, formula follows: iif([flag1] ,[finish],projdatevalue("na")) if not using flag1, substitute name of flag field in preceding formula.  if marking summary tasks deliverables, sure select "use formula" option custom field in middle of dialog.  hope helps. when receive vm shows in email; however, when click on message listen, plays there no sound.  i have 3 different devices use computer.  jabra motion (which leave @ office), jabra 510 speaker (again @ office) , jabra 935 use @ home.  i attempting listen voice message home on jabra 935.  i first verified device connected.  tools>audio device settings>audio device listed jabra.  i can hear dial tone know working.  i've unplugged usb jabra motion.  still no sound when play vm. hi mizzou.   thanks posting here.   can change audio device check issue? also, if turn volume biggest, can hear voicemail?   meanwhile, please check if computer setting cause issue, set computer in mute. also, confirm if voicemail recorded sender.   regards, rudy Office / Skype for Business / Windows other
