Save Mac Outlook 2016 email address auto complete entries & then - Microsoft Community

a company working using mac outlook 2016 send , receive emails through gmail email service. users have thousands of email auto complete entries within outlook profiles.

these auto complete entries important since when users type first few characters of someone's email address or name correct email address appear auto complete entry within outlook (see screenshot).

next week switching them on using office 365 , creating new mac outlook 2016 profiles each , every user communicating office 365 server instead of gmail servers.

we don't want users have regenerate email address auto complete entries once again.

what can done preserver or regenerate outlook user's email auto complete entries when users type first few characters of email address or name email address suggested within email auto complete entry?

i willing purchase commercial utility either migrate these email auto complete entries or regenerate them based upon sent , received emails current new outlook 2016 email profiles if necessary.

hi dennis5151,

can try following steps give shot:
1. navigate original outlook 2016 mac profile, go \users\<username>\library\group containers\ubf8t346g9.office\outlook\outlook 15 profiles\<profiles name>\data\recent addresses
2. copy file there , put under same path of new outlook 2016 mac’s profile.

and, far know, if messages sent or received moved new outlook mac profile, build new “recent address” database autocomplete entries stored. so, can import previous messages new outlook 2016 mac profile, too.

regards,
alan
