Word/Powerpoint/Outlook/etc. Crash Upon Startup - Microsoft Community

hi,

all of microsoft office 365 products on mac crash upon startup giving me exc_bad_access kern_invalid_address error signature.  i have tried several times delete , re-install office 365 suite, nothing seems correct problem.  has else seen problem or know how fix it?

to troubleshoot issue, please provide following information:

 

1.some related screenshots of error message "exc_bad_access kern_invalid_address".

(please mask private information if there any.)

 

2.your office version.

(since office applications crash upon startup, can check office version in finder>applications>word (or other office applications)>find version information in version section)

 

3.mac version. (apple menu in upper left corner>about mac)

 

4.where download , install office? please clarify it.

hi we have shared mailbox shared user , want use tasks of shared mailbox not updating when make changes. there solution this? hi karabotladi, when shared shared mailbox user, did grant permissions him? if share task user, on permissions tab, in name box, click name of person access want change. under permissions, in permission level list, choose permission level. if share shared mailbox user, use admin account log exchange admin center > recipients> shared> select , double click it> mailbox delegation> add user full access list. regards, vanessa Office / Outlook / Windows 10 / Office 365 for business

Outlook 2016 for Mac - Multiple Issues, Error 17884 - Microsoft Community

working mac users @ business. have few issues outlook 2016 not seem have clear cut solutions can find searching community. new emails - messages sporadically go straight outbox after being sent, not send until user exits re-opens outlook, work after multiple restarts. error code see corresponding 17884 sync status - thousands of items have yet synced. sync status show proper statistics items syncing, statistics change 'server busy' , have no idea if still syncing in background or hung up. using 'sync folder' or 'send & receive' stack more items sync status window no progress made. connection window in bottom right corner - upon start up, display 'not connected'. can leave outlook open prolonged period of time , never change, if change status of outlook online offline multiple times in tools window. so far have rebuilt profile scratch within outlook tried opening outlook on multiple wifi networks tried ope
